Wow that looks absolutely amazing!!! I really hope there is a recording. How was This Otherness? I have always liked that song a little. I did not expect them to play this on ever since they never played around the release of It’s a Love Cult.

Wow, thats an exciting setlist. And I get goosebumps just from knowing that the yplayed “This Otherness”, I really love this song and also that album …

The set was played in sunshine in the mid-evening with a good crowd (7-800?) in front of the stage in the park. Great reception from the crowd during the set. Kjetil Møster quickly came into his own and they fused his sax with the band’s sound quite easily.

I’ve seen them 70+ times now, and feel equally blessed every time i see them on stage.

Super-enjoyable, kick-ass, fun and well-paced show with some blinding jamming – especially in the first half, where Møster was excellent, but Olaf was absolutely SUPERB. Some of his fills were the best I’ve ever heard him pull off, and his energy was through the roof. The intro to “Deserted Cities” almost sounded like Stooges’ “Down On The Street”, and the solo had some peak rock moments. Snah and Bent on fire. Just wow. Bent was generally flawless, and in a great mood, and Snah was razor sharp, and sounded very happy with the show afterwards.

@Krist_Rampage “This Otherness” took up 8 minutes of the set, was a downer coming out of “Kobaiia” (where Møster was amazing), and the main body of the song was the low-point of the gig, but it had a pretty tasteful Snah-solo going for it.

“Superstooge” had a Pharaoh Sanders-type lift-off instead of a solo, where Olaf was totally on top of it, and both Møster and Snah were wailing away. As far as “jazz exploration in front of a festival crowd”, this was an awesome experience.

Hmm, I’m kind of disappointed to read that about This Otherness. I wonder if they will ever play it again but reading this I don’t think so.

Great but way too short gig.
I liked the otherness-jam. And very cool to hear new stuff live. Møster was great. They had fun. OK crowd, as festivalcrowds go.

I got a short chat with all 3 of them after the gig, and signed my shirt. Very happy.
