The Empty Bottle

One of my favorite bands finally played near me and did it at my favorite Chicago venue. It was my first (and so far only) MP show. The setting couldn’t have been better. I don’t know how many people were at this show, but I remember it as fewer than 25. Maybe my memory is exaggerating how empty The Bottle was, but I’m sure there were not more than 50. It’s a small room and with nobody bumping into each other, crowding the stage or talking/shouting, it felt a lot like a group of friends hanging out watching a local band practicing. It would have been cool to hear more classic MP songs, but it still rocked. I recorded the audio that’s on the archive and I got the whole thing on video.
